When tasked with creating a comic strip to show emotion and convey a story the first thing that came to mind was me and my friends' experience trying to purchase Taylor Swift tickets. The scenario contained many mixed emotions that I thought would be fun to display in cartoon form. Plus, I started out the semester analyzing Taylor Swift albums, so I thought it was only fitting to focus my final assignment on Miss. Swift. Once I had my idea everything came into place. Since I know I am terrible at drawing, I decided I wanted to make my comic digital since I love to edit on Canva. I also wanted it to follow from the day in November when we initially tried to get tickets and failed and then to show the week before the concert when we secured tickets and then got to enjoy the concert. I had so much fun creating the comic as it was nice to think back on this story. It was a memorable moment of my college experience since I tried to purchase tickets the first time in the campus ministry center. I also loved getting to share it with my two friends. Seeing their reactions was priceless! They questioned which sketch they were and the three of us could not stop laughing at the drawings. Going into this project I was nervous as I am not the most artistic person, and I was struggling at first to come up with an idea. Once I started the comic, it was hard to stop. I kept thinking of more things I could include and enjoyed looking for all the different sketches. I am proud of the result, and this project was one of my favorites of the semester!
